Viewers are invited to share the Artists' impressions of the world, to enjoy the pallet of natural and neutral colors and to discover the joy in seeing the world not as a photographic reproduction of reality but rather as a creative interpretation of every day scenes in patterns and shapes with a tension between positive and negative spaces, repeat patterns, shades and tones of color. 

The artist has traveled extensively in America, England and Italy and has developed a library of beautiful photographs of the special personality of each area visited; including unique and ancient architectural structures and details, windows and doors with century old paint one layer over the other, the weather over the centuries wearing away a part of each generations efforts at restoration and revealing  some hint of the original colors; ancient olive orchards and vineyards in Italy and thatched stone cottages in the Cotswolds, charming country gardens and fields of wild flowers, trees and plants in every season of color.

Carrying a sketch book and a camera, Pamela Searcy travels the undisturbed and under appreciated back roads to discover the secret beauty the local residents enjoy but don't advertise.  The Artist Sketches landscapes and buildings, architectural details, plants and trees in great detail and in broad reference.   Pamela works from her photographs and sketches to create unique and individual representations of the world traveled.
